 Ethnographic Mining museum: A novel museum located in the subsoil of the Hill Pie de Gallo, " Santuario del socabon " in which it is possible to appreciate the working inside the silver-mine of the colony with a perfect setting of that time.
Mineralogical museum with 7.600 samples of minerals that are exploited in Bolivia, in the sections of Petrografy, Mineralogy and Paleontology.
National museum of Anthropology and Archaeology with one of the biggest collections in the evolution of masks, percussion instruments and Andean winds, includes a sample dedicated especially to the Chipaya culture.
Culture
The House of the Culture: Building that belonged to Simón Patiño, is relies on with an art gallery of colonial art and furniture of the style Luis XV and the XVIth.
Oruro is a mystical and mythical place. His people practises traditions and rituals in sacred Andean places like the stony formations named the Condor, the Viper, the Toad, the Lizard and the Ants (sandbanks). Although here the Andean ceremonies intermingle with the Christian credence inserted by the Spanish, of equal way in Oruro we find populations indigenous to major importance in the American continent, since there are the ethnic groups Urus, Uru Muratos and Uru Chipayas. All this and more there constitute an important and very rich patrimony for the tourism.
