In a journey for the city you can visit  several interesting places  for the tourism, among those that highlight:

 

The House of the Culture: Building(edifice) that belonged to Simón Patiño, is relies on with an art gallery of colonial art and furniture of the style Luis XV and the XVIth.

Sanctum of the Virgen del Socavon: Where there is venerated by  the miners and it is part of the national folklore.

La portada de beatario: This front is realized in stone and is a center of peregrination in devotion to his founder Hna. Nazaria March, beatified in 1993. It has a convent where a small museum exists with the belongings of his founder.

 

Iglesia de San Miguel de la Ranchería: One of the most notable exponents of the half-caste baroque, place wherefrom the first rretinue came out for the foundation of Oruro.

The Zoo: With animals of the region like the alpaca, lame, vicuña,  white neck condor, eagle, armadillo or quirquincho with whose shell the "charango", musical typical instrument of Bolivia. 

Lighthouse of Conchupata: We can enjoy a panoramic sight of Oruro from this national monument, place where for the first time the current Bolivian flag was hoisted.
